The Lynn Thomas Real Estate Team is committed to giving back to the community.

The Lynn Thomas Keller Williams Red Day Video

Lynn Thomas discusses the importance of giving back to our local community.

Red Day is a day of the year when Keller Williams agents around the world spend a day of service pouring into their local community.  What i amazing to see is just how powerful it is when we combine forces and give back.  What is interesting to see is when we give, we get.  Keller Williams discovered that the offices that give to their communities are more profitable than those who do not.  Consider joining us for this year's Red Day comming up May 12th 2011.

Additional ways The Lynn Thomas Team Gives Back

The West End Boys School

The Lynn Thomas Real Estate Team partners with Keller Williams Louisville East in providing time and resources to the West End Boys School.  Perry Thomas was deeply touched in 2009 when he and Lynn and 20 additional real estate agents from Keller Williams went to the west end boys school and met the staff, the directors and the boys and spent the day together.  Perry met the Director of the school who used to be the director of Country Day.  He responded to the need our African American men in the West End of our city have for academic preparation to offer them more opportunity to compete in the marketplace and life.

His expectations are high.  The work ethic is rigorous .  The program is a year-round boarding school for middle school boys. Admission is open to boys entering sixth grade who are on free or reduced lunch, are capable of doing academic work at grade level or above and who would benefit from a stable, structured and safe environment.  Summer school is involved.  For these young men who are willing to put focus and energy into their studies, opportunities begin to appear.  The Lynn Thomas Team feels this program is worth supporting.  So, again this year, The Whole Lynn Thomas Team teaming up with Keller Williams Louisville East, are spending the day on May 12th to spend the day in t-shirts and jeans, working and cleaning up the West End School to make it an even better enviornment for the Boys.

Southeast Christian Church

Perry and Lynn are long time members of Southeast Christian Church.  Perry remembers first attending Southeast in the early nineties when the church was still on Hikes Lane where Cannan Baptist Church is now.  Perry and Lynn started attending listening to Bob Russell every weekend.  After a year of just listening, they got involved with Brett Deyoung's BSF class and learned about living a life devoted to God and others.  From there, they became involve in the Southeast Easter Pageant.  Lynn directed the pageant while Perry played Peter.  Once the Pageant moved to the Blankenbaker campus Perry and Lynn's son's were involved as actors making it an entire family affair.  Justin and Sean Giddings were also involved in Student Ministries which eventually led to Perry being on staff in that ministry.  Perry worked there for 5 years before joining Lynn on her team.  To this day, Perry and Lynn are completely bought in to the Southeast Ministry's Mission of supporting relationships between people and God and people to each other.

Pride of Kentucky Chorus

The mission of the Pride of Kentucky Chorus is, "dedicated to excellence in singing barbershop harmony, growth and achievement through performance and competition, and service to the community -- all in an atmosphere of mutual love and respect."  Kathryn Sotelo sings with the Pride of Kentucky Chorus and spends the bulk of her volunteer time there.  The Lynn Thomas Team supports the Pride of Kentucky Chorus

Church Tech Talk

Church Tech Talk is a resource for, Church Tech Folks,  Church Creative Arts Directors and Pastors all over the world.  Perry Jason, Dave Steve and Casey do a weekly Podcast for Church Tech People, who might otherwise find themselves working mostly alone.  Church Tech Talk gives them an opportunity to network with other Church Tech Folks sharing ideas on how to make Church better all over the world.  Understanding the budget for most churches involve little or none for church production, Church Tech Talk's focus is finding and giving stuff away for free.  Hosting fees, bandwidth and other stuff has to come from somewhere.  That's where The Lynn Thomas Team comes in.
