The Map to the right shows where the Polo Fields is in relationship to Highway 64 and I-265. The subdivision is located on the east end of Louisville Kentucky. The directions for how to get to the Polo Fields, is to drive east on I-64 from downtown Louisville Kentucky to exit B to I-265 Gene Snyder Freeway. Take the Gene Snyder east one exit to exit 27 Shelbyville Road. Turn east and travel 3 miles to Eastwood. Take a left on Flatrock road. Travel1 1/2 miles down a winding, beautiful Flatrock Road till you see the entrance to the Polo Fields on the left hand side.
The Polo Fields really is an amazing subdivision. Nestled in the East End of Louisville the Polo Fields was created to display a resort type community yet still having a family type atmosphere. That's why there is an amazing clubhouse overlooking a golf course and a 14 acre lake right next to playgrounds and junior Olympic swimming pools. Keeping active on walking and riding paths has never been easier. To top it off, there is an 18 hole Bill Newcomb designed golf course.
Additional golfing can be found just down the street at the Persimmon Ridge gold course. For the Frisbee golf fans, an 18 hole Frisbee golf course can be found at Long Run Park. Long Run park also has a picnic pavilion, restrooms, picnic tables, basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, a great playground complete with a huge sandbox and a lake for fishing and feeding the ducks.
The Polo Fields neighborhood is well well designed. The common areas are well manicured and extremely well maintained. There are plenty of ponds and playgrounds. The streets are well lit. Polo Fields is a perfect neighborhood to live in.
